BLEEDING GUMS SHOULD NOT BE IGNORED
Your gums are likely to bleed if they are unhealthy. Bacterial plaque attacks your gums and causes inflammation.
The solution is usually simple, more cleaning, especially between the teeth with floss or other interdental aids.
Simple gum inflammation is known as 'gingivitis'. This is readily reversible. A trip to see the hygienist will help.
More advanced gum disease is known as 'periodontitis'. This can lead to tooth loss and needs regular, intensive care to control. It is not generally reversible. Multiple sessions with the hygienist or dentist are usually required to control the disease.
Gum disease has been linked with heart disease and other illnesses and should not be ignored.
Our hygienist sessions are only £40per 30 minutes and are exceptional value for money when compared to others.
